The ÖGUM is dedicated to the non-profit promotion of science and healthcare in the field of ultrasound diagnostics. The existing working groups are now being expanded by a new working group on the topic of ultrasound in veterinary medicine.
The importance of sonography in veterinary medicine has experienced a significant rise. Improved diagnostics, rapid availability, location independence and ongoing technological advances have made sonography indispensable in daily diagnostic work – yet until now there has been no structured sonography training for veterinary professionals.
